Why does quality of life matter?
Today’s modern world is stressful, and record proportions of people report feeling anxious. Although we are living longer, our quality of life can be low, even for those of us lucky enough not to be living in war zones or through famines or droughts.
If you’re constantly exhausted, juggling many responsibilities, feeling irritable, anxious, overwhelmed, or unable to cope, then it’s important to recognise that your quality of life deserves some attention. And you can’t do it all alone.
When it’s so busy, finding time for any kind of self-care feels impossible. But the good news is you don’t need a lot of time to make a difference.
Taking steps towards feeling more positive can bring so many benefits for quality of life, so I want to share how it works, and what it can do for you.

What can science do?
This challenge is entirely based on scientific research carried out with people like you. It draws on techniques that made those people feel happier, more positive, and better able to cope with life.
It worked for them, so it can work for you. And you don’t need any scientific background to benefit!
What is Thrive in Five?
This is a really simple challenge. I know you’re busy so I have made it as easy as I possibly can.
It’s designed for you to follow in your own time. It gives you five simple actions, one a day for five days, which are accessible and fun. No specialist equipment is required, just an openness to try new things.
Here’s what you’ll get:
* 5 daily emails to guide your journey
* A simple 5-minute “To Do” action each day
* A summary workbook with beautiful illustrations and motivational quotes
* A bonus Q&A live discussion at the end
Just 5 minutes a day for 5 days for just £5 – cheaper than an espresso and a croissant – to improve your quality of life. Why not give it a try?

Director, Bluebird Happiness Consultancy.
I’m excited to share these ideas with you, which all come from scientific studies demonstrating that they work! I developed a really successful and popular happiness and wellbeing course for my students drawing on lots of these techniques, and I’ve picked the most effective ones for this resource as I know they should help improve your quality of life almost immediately (although obviously a little effort and input is required!).
